Liana Williams is a dedicated athlete and proud member of the U.S. Women’s Blind Cricket Team. Originally from Indonesia, Liana moved to the United States in 1996 as an international student and now calls Olympia, Washington home. Passionate about advocacy and education, she is an active member of the Washington chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Liana aspires to become a Braille teacher to help empower others through literacy and independence. When she’s not studying or training, Liana fills her life with creativity and movement—she enjoys cooking, knitting, crocheting, singing, and tandem biking up to 40 miles a day with her husband. Guided by her personal philosophy that “age is just a number and blindness is just a lifestyle,” Liana approaches every challenge with determination, curiosity, and the heart of a true athlete.
