
Meet Stacy DeVaughn – an inspiring go-getter and proud member of the U.S. Women’s Blind Cricket Team. At 57, she is a wife, mother, and grandmother of 15, living near Springfield, Massachusetts. Stacy is in her second year of graduate studies, pursuing a degree in Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling—a testament to her lifelong commitment to growth and service. Her journey into blind cricket began at the 2025 National Federation of the Blind Massachusetts Convention, where she received a scholarship. Motivated, she embraced the challenge and earned her place as one of fourteen athletes representing the U.S. on the national team. More than an athlete, Stacy inspires people of all ages through her energy, advocacy, and leadership. On the field, in the classroom, or in everyday life, she shows it’s never too late to take on a new adventure—and lead with heart.
