Meet Tina Gruchow, a lifelong athlete and proud member of the U.S. Women’s Blind Cricket Team. Growing up in Janesville, Wisconsin, Tina thrived in competitive sports like softball and soccer, driven by a deep passion for athletics. That same competitive spirit led her to the unique world of blind cricket — a game designed entirely for blind and visually impaired athletes. The moment she picked up a cricket bat, she was hooked. Today, Tina leads a dynamic life both on and off the field. She works at Industries for the Blind, provides respite care for children with special needs, and finds peace riding horses on the trails near her home. A dedicated mother of two and holder of a bachelor’s degree in social work, Tina brings the same energy and determination to her professional and personal life that she brings to the pitch. Whether supporting others through her work or representing her country in blind cricket, Tina Gruchow is a powerful example of resilience, passion, and purpose.
